Obituary of Barbara Evelyn Tolbert

Barbara Evelyn Tolbert, 79, of Woodville passed away peacefully on November 29, 2015. Born September 26, 1936 in Bluefield, West Virginia to the late Raymond and Mabel Conley, she lived in Tyler County most of her life. She was a long time employee and retired Tax Assessor and Collector of 35 years for Tyler County. Barbara loved spending time with her family and her beloved Yorkshire Terrier, Bam Bam. Barbara was also known to her family and friends as the #1 fan of the Dallas Cowboys. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Donald Tolbert and son, Stefan Tolbert. Left to cherish her memories is her daughter and son-in-law, Tammy and Jerry Hadnot; grandchildren, Shelby and Shay Hadnot; sister and brother-in-law, Rita and Jack Bailey of West Virginia and numerous other family members and friends. Funeral service will be held Thursday, December 3, 2015, at 2 pm at the Riley Funeral Home in Woodville with Brother Mike Minter officiating. Burial will follow at the Magnolia Cemetery in Woodville. Visitation will be held Thursday from 12 noon until the time of the service. Serving as pallbearers will be Jerry Tolbert, Victor Hadnot, Terry Tolbert, David Tolbert, John Hadnot and Mark Tolbert. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Lyle Rainey, Brodie Townley, Michael Tolbert and Gary Tolbert.
