Obituary of Robert Earl Shuart

Robert Earl Shuart, 80, of Spurger passed away on April 4, 2015. Born June 2, 1934 in Rotan, Texas to the late Jerry and Gladys Borne Shuart, he lived in Spurger for many years. He was retired from Goodyear as a production supervisor. Robert was a loving and caring husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He enjoyed spending time with his family and the outdoors. Robert is preceded in death by his parents; son, Robert Shuart, Jr. and a grandchild, Crystal Cowart. He is survived by his loving wife, Ethel Inez Shuart; daughters, Cynthia Shuart of Coppertown, GA, Frances Bergstrom and husband, Ralph of Warren, Bethany Shuart of Silsbee and Karen Shuart and fiancé, Greg Payne of Hickory, N.C.; son, Scott Shuart and wife, Kehaulani of San Antonio; sisters, Chris Peters of Houston and Gwen Martin and husband, James of Texas City; eighteen grandchildren and twenty-nine great grandchildren and a host of other family members and friends. Grave side service will be held Tuesday, April 7, 2015, at 2 pm at the Turner Branch Cemetery in Spurger. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 10 until 12 noon at the funeral home.
