Obituary of Vera J. Jeane

Vera Jean Riley Jeane, 86, of Bay City passed away January 29, 2015. Born September 30, 1928 in Woodville, Texas to William and Ellen Norton Riley, she lived in West Columbia, Tx for many years before moving to Bay City. She was a retired Licensed Vocational Nurse. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend to all who knew and loved her. She is preceded in death by her parents; sons, Larry Jeane and Otis Don Jeane; sisters, Frances Mitchell and Elma Ruth Dixon; and brother, Edward Riley. Vera is survived by her sons, Stephen Jeane of Jonestown, Tx and Charles Clinton Jeane of Bay City; brother, Emory Lee Riley; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, other family members and friends. A grave side service will be held Tuesday, February 3, 2015, at 2 pm at the Mt. Pisgah Cemetery in Woodville with Brother Kenneth Cauthen officiating. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 10 am until 12 noon at the funeral home.
