Obituary of Katherine Dickerson Williams

On January 5, 2015, Katherine Dickerson Williams was taken home by her angels. She was with us for 69 years sharing time with her four daughters: Nancy Eaves, Paula Potts, Jonnie Dennis, and Robin Shepherd. She loved her sons-in-law Terry Holloway, Chuck Potts, Pete Dennis, and Kirby Shepherd as one of her own. Katherine was blessed with thirteen grandchildren that she enjoyed and held dearly to her heart: Brian Eaves, Brandi Eaves, Chad Litton, Tiffany Meyer, Erin Booth, Gerald Dennis, Elizabeth Dennis, Tanner Shepherd, Crystal Wesenberg, Trevor Shepherd, Cliff Russell, Cassie Lindahl, and Zachary Barber. She also cherished her nineteen great-grandchildren. Her church home was Fellowship Church of Woodville. Katherine was loved by so many and will be missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Williams, and her only sibling Billy Dickerson. Visitation was held on January 9, 2015 from 5:00 – 8:00 pm at Riley Funeral Home of Woodville, Texas. Funeral services were held at Riley Funeral Home Chapel on January 10, 2015 at 2:00 pm with Brother Kenneth DeRouen officiating. She was buried at Mt. Pisgah cemetery in Woodville. Serving as Pallbearers were Cliff Russell, Zachary Barber, Trevor Shepherd, Gerald Dennis,Cody Rawls, Craig Booth, Cole Rawls, Chad Litton, and Rob Meyer. Honorary pallbearers were her great grandsons. She was escorted out by Jacob Booth. Services were under the direction of Riley Funeral Home.
