Obituary of Ola Blake

Ola Blake, 83, of Houston, TX passed away December 30, 2014. She was born on July 7, 1931 in Bruce, Mississippi. Ola was preceded in death by her husband Albert A. “Bill” Blake; son Danny Gable; and daughter Shirley Whitt. Ola is survived by son Terry Blake and wife Nikki of Dayton, Texas; daughter-in-law Connie Gable of Houston, Texas; son-in-law Wayne Whitt of Houston, Mississippi; eight grandchildren: Tasha Blake, Cassidy Blake, Hunter Blake, Logan Blake, Pam Fitch and husband Lonnie, Daniel Gable and wife Vicki, Eva Laird and husband Chris, and Joshua Whitt; seven great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; and two sisters: Ilene and Beulah. Graveside Services will be held for Ola on Friday, January 2, 2015 at 11:00 am at Rockland Cemetery in Rockland, TX with Brother Chad Barnes officiating. Services under the direction of Riley Funeral Home of Tyler County.
