Obituary of Kimberly Denice Delp

Kimberly Rains Delp, 50, of Woodville, passed away Sunday December 28, 2014 at her home. Born May 12, 1964 in Dallas, she lived in Woodville for 47 years. Kim was a 1982 graduate of Woodville High School and later graduated from Tyler County School of Vocational Nursing. Kim married Kevin Delp on October 21, 2000 and together they owned and operated Kevin Delp Trucking. Kim was preceded in death by her grandparents Arnold and Lucille Rains and O.B. and Edith Welch. Kim is survived by her parents Jerry and Sherrie Rains of Woodville; husband Kevin Delp of Woodville; daughter Amber Mitcham Bagwell and husband T.J. of Splendora; son Allen Mitcham and wife Allison of Nederland; sister Lisa Rains Cope and husband Jerome of Lumberton; step children Candice Olvera of Houston, Andrew Delp and Devin Delp both of Woodville; grandchildren Wyatt and Levi Bagwell, Sawyer Mitcham, Leighann and Reid Delp, Aaliyah Olvera and Marlie Delp; nieces Maegan and Morgan Celestine of Lumberton. Kim was an avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed Sunday afternoon racing. She also enjoyed the beach and looked forward to her annual family beach vacation. Her happiest moments in life were spent surrounded by her children and grandchildren. Kim was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, grandmother and friend. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Visitation will be held on Friday January 2, 2015 from 5-8pm at Riley Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2pm on January 3, 2015 at Riley Funeral Home with Brother Doug Shows and Brother Larry Trest officiating. Burial to follow at Magnolia Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are Andrew Delp,. James Courville, Duane Rains, Ernest Enter, Duane Vincent, and John Thomas Sutton
