Obituary of Billie M Walker

Billie M. Walker, 85, of Woodville passed away December 8, 2014. Born December 12, 1928 in Lufkin, Tx to Mark and Jennie Harbuck, she lived in Woodville for many years. She was a member of the Dogwood Hills Baptist Church in Woodville. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend who enjoyed the outdoors being around animals. She is preceded in death by her parents, son, Howard Walker, Jr. and a brother, Delton Harbuck. Billie is survived by her loving husband, H, D. Walker; sons, Joel L Walker of Beaumont and Kent D. Walker of Woodville; sisters, Jeanett Gilbert of Lufkin, Marjorie Burris of Port Arthur, Maxine Powell of Lumberton and Nancy Sandrock of Beaumont; grandchildren, Anna, Micah and Emily Walker; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held Friday at 10 am at the Dogwood Hills Baptist Church in Woodville with burial to follow at the Fielders Cemetery in Homer, Tx. Visitation will be held Friday from 9 am until the time of the service.
